Our Guinea Pig, Our Fur Baby

March 2003 - March 2006

Three years just weren’t enough with our baby boy, Hammy.  He was our first guinea pig, and as such, will always hold a very special place in our hearts.  Due to complications from an Upper Respiratory Infection, he died peacefully in his sleep, on the morning of March 4, 2006.  Things just won’t be the same without him.  He leaves behind his little brother, Muffin (guinea pig), four older siblings Mickey (dog), Jack (dog), Logan (cat), and Tsing Tsing (cat), and two heartbroken parents.  His legacy will be that he taught us how to better love and care for guinea pigs and how to appreciate the ‘little things’ in life.
