Guinea pigs will only be adopted out in pairs.  Guinea pigs are herd animals, and as such, require the companionship of other piggies to thrive.  We will make exceptions if you have an existing pig that can be paired with one of our adoptables.  The fee for adopting is $25.00 per guinea pig.  This fee benefits the homeless piggies that we seek medical care for, house, and feed.

Guinea pigs will not be adopted out as gifts.  Guinea pigs will not be adopted out to be classroom pets.  Guinea pigs will not be adopted out to be children's pets.  Adopting to a family with children, and the right amount of adult supervision is permissable.

If your adoption application is accepted, you will be asked to meet with a representative of our agency.  If you are looking for a friend for an existing guinea pig, you will be asked to bring along your guinea pig to make introductions.  Once your adopted guinea pig is chosen, you will be asked to sign an adoption contract.  Then he/she's all yours!  *We reserve the right to 'check in' on our adopted piggies (cause we love 'em that much).*
